Who is Gravity?

Dan Jones, General Manager of Gravity Productions, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has since lived in: Mexico City, France, England, Maryland, New York, Los Angeles, and finally San Diego. He graduated from Ithaca College in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Cinema & Photography and a minor in Scriptwriting. Dan brings ten years of large scale production experience to his role as General Manager of Gravity Productions.    E-mail Dan

Miguel Serna is a Project Manager for Gravity Productions. He was born in Bogotá Colombia, South America. He moved to the U.S. at the age of 14 and has lived in San Diego ever since. He has been working in the Audio/Visual field for 7 years. Working with Gravity Productions, he says, "I realize how nice it is to work in a well-organized company with a great environment and outstanding management." Don Knapp was born in Chicago, Illinois and later moved to Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1997 with a Bachelors in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Digital Animation and Design. After graduation Don worked for a AAA Baseball Team where he designed all printed advertising and promotional materials as well as managing the Technical Department of the franchise. Following that, Don worked as a Project Manager for four years for a number of large and small associations before joining Gravity Productions.    E-mail Don

Matt Clifford was born in the mid-west but grew up here in San Diego. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications and Film. Matt worked as a freelance camera operator and video editor doing mostly industrial video production for two years following graduation. In 1999 Matt went to work for the largest in-house provider of Audio/Visual services in the nation. In the 8+ years with that company he had various management roles running A/V offices in convention hotels in Southern California and beyond. Matt brings an insider perspective and hospitality background to Gravity and is the newest member of the team as a Project Manager.   E-mail Matt

Carol Ward was born in San Diego, CA and has lived in southern California all her life. She started her career in the banking industry before taking several years off to raise her family. She has been a volunteer in the soccer community for several years and enjoys playing soccer as well. Carol has been married for 25 years and now has two grown children, Lance and Emma. Carol is a wizard at organization and has a special skill of keeping all of us here at Gravity Productions in line and out of trouble.   E-mail Carol

Jeremy Lorang, Warehouse Operations Manager at Gravity Productions, was born in San Diego and has lived there virtually his entire life. He graduated from University City High School. Jeremy has been playing soccer since he was four, earning two CIF Championships during his high school career and one State Cup Championship. Jeremy is very interested in the ever-changing world of technology and brings a younger influence to Gravity Productions.   E-mail Jeremy

Scott Powell was born in South Carolina and moved to Seattle, WA at the age of 4. He graduated from Oregon State in 1995 with a degree in Communications and a minor in sociology and philosophy. He went back to Seattle after graduation and was the manager at Proline Audio Visual. In 1998, there was an opening for General Manager at the Caribiner office in San Diego, CA., Scott made the move and has been here ever since. Scott feels that the success of the company has come from creativity, determination, and the emphasis on the quality of the working environment. Ideas of all employees are discussed and often implemented. "Everyone feels they are an integral part of the company and its success."    E-mail Scott
